In-Class:

1.  Go Over Assignment

2.  Lesson 2.14 & Notes... REVIEW: finding a missing value in a SUBTRACTION statement

             REMEMBER:     TOTAL - PART = REMAINING PART

                                          1. Find the missing value using addition or subtraction 

                                                (depending on the situation)

                                           2. Think! Does my answer make sense

                                                The TOTAL always comes FIRST in SUBTRACTION and 

                                                   is always the BIGGEST number, 

                                                  when it is KNOWN or when it is UNKNOWN

                                          3. Take time to CHECK your answer by replacing the variable with your                                                         answer.

2. Assignment Work Time if time permits
